VoodooTV were given a fabulous 3-5 spot on the Flowerdown Fare due to problems the mean't the resident band could not play. This Flowerdown was rumoured to be the last, and it was great fun playing it!
I had literally (along with '70) just got out of my CCS at 1445. My face was still stinging from the CS so I got rid of the crap on my face with a little water... its not that bad. And for those of you morbid enough to wonder "can someone sing after being exposed to CS"...
... you can!
My Dad joined me on stage, jumping about between guitar, keyboards and bass. We managed to get a rehearse a set-list of 22 songs in about 2 and a half weeks. Bare in mind also, as well as the time constraints and eminent gassing to worry about, the other two members of the band lives over 200 miles apart and met for the first time on the night prior to the gig!
Certainly a gig I won't forget in a hurry!
Thanks, Mentions and Notables.
AC Tomlinson for his drumming
The Cosford Live Music Club for... lending... us the drum kit and mike stands, and of course giving us a place to rehearse!
Steve Minchin for sorting out Terry's accomadation
Sgt Shirley for he knows what
70' for they're audiance
Bingley, Brogan for carrying the gear
and Todd for his sheer devotion!
I'm sure I've missed someone out, but a big thanks to you none-the-less. Anyway it was help the band or put up tents! :p
